Courtney Beitey
Certified Paralegal – Estate Planning
Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Fresno State University in 2009 and then joined Lawvex in 2012 as an Intake Coordinator. She became a Certified Paralegal in 2015. A move in 2016 meant that Courtney would leave Lawvex but after a four-year hiatus, she rejoined the team in 2020 as a Trusts and Estates Paralegal, drafting estate plans and related documents. In addition to estate planning, Courtney has experience in probate, and trust administration and has been a licensed notary public.
Marisa Palomino
Certified Paralegal – Probate
Marisa joined Lawvex in June 2016 and graduated as a Certified Paralegal from Fresno City College. Initially, Marisa served as Intake Coordinator in Clovis but within a year she quickly learned and was trained in drafting and supporting our estate planning Family Foundations and Family Wealth Planning programs. Marisa has gone on to grow her knowledge and experience to include probate and trust administration notices, pleadings, and correspondence and has made filings across California in probate courts including Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Stanislaus, Riverside, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara counties. Marisa is also a licensed real estate agent.
Angela Lopez
LAW CLERK
Angela Lopez earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz in 2017, and earned her Certificate of Achievement in Paralegal Studies from Fresno City College in 2021. Unsatisfied with stopping there, she is currently a student at San Joaquin College of Law, working to earn her Juris Doctor and climb to even greater heights. Angela joined Lawvex in August 2021, and has worn many hats, but her passion for education and advocacy has not changed. Angela is bilingual and able to assist clients in English and in Spanish.
Tiffany Holcomb
Certified Paralegal – Trust Administration, Business
Tiffany graduated in 2010 from Cape Fear College in Wilmington, North Carolina, with a degree in Paralegal Studies. She began her career working as a Criminal Defense Paralegal in Wilmington, North Carolina before moving back to her hometown, Winston Salem, North Carolina, where she currently resides. From there, she joined a firm where she would continue work in Criminal Defense, Family Law, and Estate Planning. Tiffany joined Lawvex, in September 2021.
Kristina Miles
Certified Paralegal – Probate, Conservatorship, Guardianship, Litigation
Kristina earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Athens State University in 2013 and began her career as a paralegal. She previously worked on Litigation, Estate Planning, Probate, Family Law, Real Estate, LLC Formation, and Criminal cases for a small law firm in Scottsboro, Alabama. Kristina joined Lawvex in 2022 specializing in Probate and Litigation.
MATT KOTLER
PROPERTY COORDINATOR PARALEGAL
Matt is currently in the Paralegal program at Fresno city college, over the next few years will be going to law school and plans to become an attorney. When not working or at school he enjoys cooking and doing absolutely anything outdoors. In the winter you can find him skiing at China peak, and in the summer, either on the lake or on my way to the beach! He has two huskies that keep entertained and active.
